Laconi is located pretty much in the geographical centre of Sardinia, due east from Oristano. It includes the places known as Crastu, San Sofia and Su Lau.
Small and pleasant to amble around, quiet Laconi has an unspoiled centre with attractive houses and a main central square.
The northern part of Laconi is dominated by the Aymerich Park, with both the (not very substantial) remains of an 11th century castle and an extensive botanical gardens / parkland with small streams and waterfalls, a pleasant shady place to amble around.
